We are pleased to announce the award of the full open pit mining services contract for the Kathleen’s Corner and Mt Mann open pits at the Kathleen Valley Lithium Project to Iron Mine Contracting.

Since commencing open pit mining operations in January under a Preliminary Works Agreement, Iron Mine Contracting have been performing drilling and blasting, loading and hauling of ore and waste from open pit excavations, haul road construction and maintenance, and dewatering of open pit excavations services.

Importantly for Liontown, Iron Mine Contracting has committed to working with the Tjiwarl Traditional Owners with numerous opportunities identified.
