People

Our People are our priority and ensuring everyone returns home safely every day is the most fundamental commitment we can make.

A key focus during FY22 was to make sure that we had safe work practices in place prior to moving into the construction phase, which are supported by a more formalised safety management system.

We introduced Safety, Risk, Learning and Sustainability software with real-time visibility to proactively manage health and safety matters and site induction training ahead of any construction works and we progressed development of our Hazard and Risk Management Plan. We set our Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) target at <2.0.

We are aiming to create a diverse and inclusive company, as that will enhance our culture and performance and, in turn, help us to recruit, retain and motivate exceptional people. At the end of FY22, 24 percent of our workforce was female and, as we grow and attract the best talent, our aim is to increase this. At board level we are pleased to have increased our female representation to 28 percent as at end of Q2 FY23.

Diversity and Equal Opportunity

Providing opportunities to all people is a primary focus as we grow. This will help us to establish a better business. We have critical mechanisms in place, including our Diversity Policy, our Native Title Agreement (NTA) with the Tjiwarl, and reporting on our diversity performance in accordance with the ASX Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations.

We intend to hire the best people for the job, including students and graduates, and we are committed to providing training and employment opportunities for Tjiwarl Native Title Holders as we develop our Kathleen Valley Lithium Project.
