30/05/2024

FS Sustainability has recognised Liontown ESG Manager Clair Wilson in its 2024 ESG POWER50 list, which celebrates Australia’s 50 most influential Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) leaders. The list aims to spotlight individuals who drive significant positive change within their organisations and the broader community through ESG initiatives. The selection process involves nominations, voting and additional validations and the final list showcases professionals from a wide range of industries across the country.

Clair said, “This recognition is a reflection of the hard work that the entire ESG team do, along with our valuable partners and the strong company-wide commitment to being a responsible miner and producer.”

Clair began working at Liontown in 2022 and now leads a dynamic team of 17 professionals. She manages diverse functions, including ESG, approvals and compliance, Aboriginal engagement and cultural heritage, climate and decarbonisation, water exploration and management and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) spatial data.

Liontown aims to be an ESG leader in the mining sector and Clair’s inclusion in the ESG Power50 list underscores our commitment to ESG principles. At Liontown, ESG is integral to our decision-making process, driven by our core values and a strong commitment to doing what is right for all stakeholders, beyond the expectations of global investors and the market.

We congratulate Clair on this well-deserved recognition and are excited for the innovative ESG projects that are being implemented across her team as we transition into steady-state operations at our world-class Kathleen Valley Lithium Project.
